Why we invested

Heating and cooling are the largest uses of energy in our homes, responsible for over half of home energy bills and ~440 million tons of carbon dioxide annually. Zero Homes is building technology to make it easier for anyone to electrify their home in an affordable, fast, and transparent way.

Why this work matters

Homeowners and contractors must go through a gauntlet to update and maintain affordable, healthy homes – often putting this work out of reach. Digitizing the process will enable meaningful improvements to homes faster, reduce the overhead burden on contractors, and do so at a scale that matters for the planet.
