
Edward joined Prelude Ventures as a Senior Associate in 2024.
Before Prelude, Edward was a management consultant at Bain & Company, where he worked with clients in the utilities & renewables practice to build data-driven processes for optimizing grid capital investments and supported private equity and growth equity clients to evaluate investment opportunities across a range of industries. Edward also previously worked at Powerhouse Ventures and at Crux, the capital markets platform providing transferable tax credit and debt financing solutions for clean energy and manufacturing projects.
Edward holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from UC Berkeley's College of Engineering and a B.S. in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for Friends of the Urban Forest, a non-profit that has been working to revitalize San Francisco’s urban forests, connect people to nature, and foster a more climate-resilient city since 1981. Edward previously served on the boards of Seattle-based nonprofits Teens in Public Service, Student Music Initiatives, and the Museum of History and Industry, and was also an advisory board member for the Jacobs Institute for Design Innovation and the Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology at UC Berkeley.
Based in San Francisco, Edward enjoys trying new food spots with friends, cooking, listening to podcasts, and exploring the outdoors as much as possible. He is an avid cyclist, skier, tennis player, backpacker, and certified scuba divemaster.
